Pack 1 pick 1:
My Pick:
Revoke Privileges seems to be this set's Pacifism which is usually a solid pick so I'll go with it here. Maybe the Ovlya was the pick though.
Pack 1 pick 2:
My Pick:
My computer was a little wonky and I timed out. MTGO picked a solid card but I would have grabbed the Fairgrounds Warden since that card is ridiculous and would have kept me on colour.
Pack 1 pick 3:
My Pick:
Again, first time with the set. Peema Outrider should have been the pick here. At least the Seedshaper nets me a card with the Armorcraft Judge.
Pack 1 pick 4:
My Pick:
I got greedy and picked the rare. Should have went with the Tiger or Wanderer. The Harrier and Skiff are also good options.
Pack 1 pick 5:
My Pick:
There's nothing in my colour and I planned to maindeck Appetite anyway, assuming there would be artifacts everywhere.
Pack 1 pick 6:
My Pick:
I grabbed the Wanderer here but didn't have the intention of splashing a third colour. In later drafts I realize that with green as a main colour splashing a third colour is very easy in this format.
Pack 1 pick 7:
My Pick:
I don't have anything that needs energy so I'll take a second Seedsculptor for the Judge.
Pack 1 pick 8:
My Pick:
I don't have a lot of artificers but the Wily Bandar seems underwhelming. Maybe the Module was the pick.
Pack 1 pick 9:
My Pick:
There isn't anything in my colour so I picked this up in case I needed it to get a good artifact back.
Pack 1 pick 10:
My Pick:
White isn't really coming my way so I may have to move into another colour. I'll try and grab a vehicle to abuse the Infiltrator.
Pack 1 pick 11:
My Pick:
I'm pretty low on artifacts but I'll try and prioritize them if it turns out I'm in red.
Pack 1 pick 12:
My Pick:
Solid pick 12 here I think.
Pack 1 pick 13:
My Pick:
Foil mountain!
Pack 1 pick 14:
My Pick:
Pack 1 pick 15:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 1:
My Pick:
Fumigate had some value at the point of this draft (a prerelease). It's also a good card if I end up white but at double white it may be hard to play if white isn't my main colour.
Pack 2 pick 2:
My Pick:
The Sky Skiff is a way better card here. Even the Iron League Steed as Cobra comes back around easily. To be fair I didn't know that at this point... my card evaluation skills need some work.
Pack 2 pick 3:
My Pick:
I should have picked the Ibex. My red is not as deep as white.
Pack 2 pick 4:
My Pick:
Now it looks like I'm three colours but with only the Wanderer as fixing.
Pack 2 pick 5:
My Pick:
The Prism would have helped smooth out my colour issues but I undervalued the Prism at this point. The Gremlins are obviously only good in heavy artifact decks which doesn't look like my deck is shaping up to be.
Pack 2 pick 6:
My Pick:
I might not need two of these, the Ibex would have been a lot better.
Pack 2 pick 7:
My Pick:
If I had the pair of Ibex then the Sage would have worked very well here. It was probably still the pick though but instead I grabbed the rare.
Pack 2 pick 8:
My Pick:
A cheap combat trick to help since the quality of my creatures isn't too great.
Pack 2 pick 9:
My Pick:
The Fireforger's Puzzleknot is actually playable removal as there are quite a few creatures with 1 toughness and later in the game you can spend 5 mana for a slower Shock if needed.
Pack 2 pick 10:
My Pick:
I only have 1 vehicle but it's still a 2/1 creature with Haste.
Pack 2 pick 11:
My Pick:
I still turned down the Ibex the second time around.
Pack 2 pick 12:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 13:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 14:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 15:
My Pick:
Pack 3 pick 1:
My Pick:
A very good common, if not the best one. It can fit in any deck and hits like... well it hits like a train. Arborback Stomper is also first pick quality but I'm not that confident in the mana base at this point.
Pack 3 pick 2:
My Pick:
I could have picked up a second Wanderer to help with the fixing but I need more removal and Welding Sparks is quality removal.
Pack 3 pick 3:
My Pick:
This was not the pick, I should have picked the Prism or Wanderer here. Maybe even the Tiger but I would pick the fixing first. I picked Durable Metalcraft because I thought I had a +1/+1 counter theme going but looking back I didn't have enough cards to support that.
Pack 3 pick 4:
My Pick:
I needed more creatures but should have picked the Harrier. I thought the Harrier was too slow but in my opinion this format is slower and the more expensive spells are cast very commonly.
Pack 3 pick 5:
My Pick:
Cathartic Reunion is actually a good card but I didn't know that at the time. It can help you draw out of floods and screws.
Pack 3 pick 6:
My Pick:
I should have grabbed the Prism!
Pack 3 pick 7:
My Pick:
This draft is going so poorly.
Pack 3 pick 8:
My Pick:
If you pick a Self-Assembler, start to pick them early in the draft. There's no way I'm getting another one at this point.
Pack 3 pick 9:
My Pick:
Spontaneous Artist is very playable and can turn anything you drop down into a surprise attacker if you keep up energy.
Pack 3 pick 10:
My Pick:
Pack 3 pick 11:

I took out the white realizing that I don't have enough playables. I was hoping the smoother mana base would work better for the deck. I probably could have splashed a Plains for the Revoke Privileges though. The deck feels very mediocre so let's see what I can do with it.
Match 1 I'm up against UG and I start off with a Narnam Cobra and a Seedsculptor growing the snake to punch through his Aether Theorist. He stumbles on mana and I add a Spontaneous Artist to my team to and swing in with everything as he used the Theorist on Upkeep to dig for a land. Ornamental Courage is sprung on me and takes out the Cobra as I don't have any mana to give it Deathtouch. a 1/4 Highspire Artisan comes down on his side to soak up some damage. Hunt the Weak grows his Theorist and kills my fresh Spireside Infiltrator. He keeps his team back and adds a second Artisan and 2 Wily Bandars while I play a Renegade Freighter but have no good attacks. I make a mistake and throw the Freighter into his huge blockers. He triple blocks and loses only the Theorist. Bad trade. Ghirapur Guide and Decoction Module hits his side of the table as I add a Weldfast Monitor and Armorcraft Judge which grabs me a Blossoming Defense. I swing with everything to take a lot of creatures off the table leaving him with a pair of Bandars and an Artisan to my Seedsculptor, Accomplished Automaton, Monitor and Judge. Appetite destroys the Module and I swing in again as both of us have no more gas. I lose my Monitor but have him at 7 life. The Bandars are actually making the game difficult as they keep absorbing the attacks I throw at him. He plays a Sage of Shalia's Claim and double blocks the Judge with it and his Artisan. I play Welding Sparks for the 2-for-1 and leave him with just the Bandars. At this point I keep attacking but only get through 1 damage each turn. I put Inventor's Goggles on the Seedsculptor though and that's enough for him to scoop them up.
My opponent starts game 2 with a Seedsculptor and Thriving Rhino while I play a Monitor. Ornamental Courage allows his Seedsculptor to kill my lizard and he follows up with the Guide. I play Spontaneous Artist but he gets through with the Seedsculptor and Rhino again while adding after adding a second Seedsculptor to the board. I'm at 9 life and try to stabilize by casting my own Seedsculptor and an Infiltrator. He replies with an Empyreal Voyager but I hold his team back. I attack with the Infiltrator and Artist. He kills the Infiltrator with the Rhino but my Fireforger Puzzleknot finishes it off. I follow up with a Wild Wanderer and my opponent bounces the Artist with Select for Inspection at the end of my turn. he attacks with the team dropping me to 4 life and the Voyager kills me 2 turns later.
Game 3 I start with a Seedsculptor and a Monitor while he plays a Sage and his own Seedsculptor. the Monitor and Sage trade while he puts his Seedscluptor in front of my Artist. My opponent casts Ornamental Courage once again but I play Built to Smash to win the fight. Highspire Artisan comes down on his side and is a very effective blocker. I play Appetite on his Decoction Module and I'm out of gas. He plays a second Courage on his Guide to help it kill my Artist and I replace it with an Infiltrator. We're at a stalemate for a few turns as both of us build up the board. I try to play a Puzzleknot to kill the Guide but Torrential Gearhulk comes out of nowhere and he recasts his Ornamental Courage to save it. Armorcraft Judge draws him 2 cards off the Artisan and A Peema Outrider but the board is crowded on the ground so I get a few more turns. He starts to activate the Guide to break the stalemate and all of a sudden I don't have any blockers other than a Monitor so I succumb to his team.
For Match 2 I'm playing against WG and we start off by trading a Ninth Bridge Patrol and a Speedway Fanatic. I follow up with a Monitor and it gets in for 3. A Riparian Tiger shows up the next turn but with Menace the Monitor still gets through, I also play Durable Handicraft and grow a Narnam Cobra with Deathtouch mana up. Nature's Way kills my snake and the Tiger chomps for 6 damage. The Monitor is doing work though so I'm not too far behind. I play Appetite on a Consulate Skygate for the lifegain to give me a chance at this race. Unfortunately on the following turn an Outrider and his Servo show up. He also plays Wildest Dreams to get his Bridge Patrol and Nature's Way back from the bin. He tries to play Nature's Way with his Tiger but I play Welding Sparks in response. Seedsculptor on my side helps slow down his attacks. The life totals are now 4-2 in his favour and with 4 creatures to my 2 he would have won if he swung in with the team. Instead he holds back and plays a Cobra. I topdeck Built to Smash and go for it with the Monitor. The blocks he sets up lets me kill him with just enough trample damage.
Game 2 has my opponent accelerating a Wild Wanderer off a Servant of the Conduit but the board quickly jams up with creatures on both sides. Armorcraft Judge nets me 2 cards off a Seedsculptor and Grubs. He's creatures start getting huge with a Riparian Tiger and a 4/6 Thriving Ibex. I double block the goat and take 6 dropping to 8 life while my opponent sits at 13. Aviary Mechanic resets the Conduit so the Tiger can come in again for 6 but I trade my Judge and 4/3 Grub for it. I play Accomplished Automaton and create a Servo to add to my Weldfast Monitor (at 4/3 thanks to Durable Handicraft) to get 3 blockers to his Mechanic, Conduit and a Narnam Cobra. He trades the Mechanic and Conduit for the Monitor. I start crewing a Freighter with double Spireside Infiltrator to Shock him every turn but don't attack because I'd lose the vehicle to the Cobra. Appetite puts an end to those shenanigans. I put Goggles on an Inflitrator and thanks to the Handicraft my team is big enough to alpha strike. I end up with a 5/5 Inflitrator becuase of the Goggles and a Servo and knock him down to 4 life while wiping his board. The Tiger reappears thanks to Wildest Dreams and he chumps the Infiltrator with a Consulate Skygate. He plays Nature's Way to kill my Monitor and attacks for 6. I let it through and drop to 2 life while he's at 3. I swing in again and he has to chump the with the Tiger. He scoops them up after that.
For the final match I stumble a turn on land drops and my UG opponent starts to develop his board quickly. Bomat Bazaar Barge starts taking chunks of my life total. I try keeping up with a Monitor (with Goggles) and Wanderer getting past his Janjeet Sentry (with a +1/+1 counter thanks to Fabrication Module) and Weldfast Wingsmith. I try to Welding Sparks the Barge but Aether Tradewinds fizzles out my spell as he bounces the Monitor resulting in my removal only dealing 4 damage. At this point I'm at 5 life and too far behind.
Game 2 I start off strong and get him to 12 life with a Seedsculptor, Salivating Gremlins and a Cobra but offensive abruptly ends as a 5/5 Tiger hits the board thanks to the Fabrication Module. Janjeet Sentry taps down my Cobra as the Tiger tries to evens the life totals with me at 13 and him at 12. Elegant Edgecrafter hits his side of the board with 2 Servos and I respond with a Automaton with a Servo of my own. I swing in with the Gremlin and deal 6 damage thanks to the artifacts coming into play. The board hits a stalemate but he's slowly growing his team with the Module. I play Appetite to stop that plan but a Wingsmith on his side flies over and I'm at 12 life. He adds a more permanent flier with a Skyswirl Harrier and follows up with a Cloudblazer. Now I'm in trouble. I'm suddenly on at lethal damage on the next turn so I desperately swing in with everything. The attack doesn't pan out as there are way too many blockers and I end the first KLD draft 1-2.
I'm in a Prerelease event where every match earns a booster pack which I didn't know at the beginning of the draft so I luckily come out of the draft with 1 pack. I did learn a lot from this though so hopefully I can put the knowledge to good use for the future!
