Pack 1 pick 1:
My Pick:
No bombs in this pack. I could have taken the Brazen Wolves but don't usually get a chance to play with this. Could be sweet with some Madness creatures. Mercurial Geist would put me into the UR Alchemist deck too early as that deck may not be open.
Pack 1 pick 2:
My Pick:
The Priest is one of the stronger cards in the pack, Maybe I should have taken the Certain Death or Weirded Vampire since black has Madness cards that can combo well with my first pick. WU tempo decks are also viable though so I'll be open to either.
Pack 1 pick 3:
My Pick:
Now I wish I took a black card pick 2. The colour looks open so I'll move into it. Unfortunately there hasn't been any good blue though...
Pack 1 pick 4:
My Pick:
Oh. Hello good blue card. It can be pitched to the Infiltrator or other discard outlets if needed. Once in the graveyard it becomes a discard outlet itself! Now I should prioritize Madness cards and try to build around the mechanic if possible.
Pack 1 pick 5:
My Pick:
Or I can completely whiff on the next pick. No idea why I picked the aura. I probably should have taken the Convolute. That would have been playable so I wasted this pick.
Pack 1 pick 6:
My Pick:
Another discard outlet. I might even be able to get something back on the wheel.
Pack 1 pick 7:
My Pick:
Gavony has enough toughness to stop most early attacks and grows at the game progresses.
Pack 1 pick 8:
My Pick:
If I happen to get a Laboratory Brute and a high creature count then the Elite can be get pretty big.
Pack 1 pick 9:
My Pick:
I've been impressed with the Foulbloods ever since my last draft and it's an easy pick here.
Pack 1 pick 10:
My Pick:
I finally pick up a Madness card to go with all discard outlets.
Pack 1 pick 11:
My Pick:
Pack 1 pick 12:
My Pick:
I'm happy with a pair of Dragoons. Especially this late.
Pack 1 pick 13:
My Pick:
Pack 1 pick 14:
My Pick:
Pack 1 pick 15:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 1:
My Pick:
I don't have enough vampires to support the rare I think. That archetype is usually RB and if I was in those colours I would just take the Smoldering Werewolf which is insane. I'm okay with another Drag Under though.
Pack 2 pick 2:
My Pick:
Another nice red removal spell but I'm happy to take Murder here. I'm hoping the Scavengers will come back around.
Pack 2 pick 3:
My Pick:
I didn't want to take this at pick 3 since it's too early but there's nothing else here for me. I was only 2 cards into blue though and red seems to be flowing. Maybe I should have moved into it?
Pack 2 pick 4:
My Pick:
Yup, moving into red definitely could have happened. Hindsight is 20/20 though. I'll take the maniac here but I'm not sure if I'll be running it.
Pack 2 pick 5:
My Pick:
That's a late Ulvenwald Captive.
Pack 2 pick 6:
My Pick:
I don't have much experience with this card but I can see it easily getting me 2-for-1s.
Pack 2 pick 7:
My Pick:
Tapping down an attacker and putting a 2/1 flier on the board can tilt races in your favour and I'm happy to pick this up here.
Pack 2 pick 8:
My Pick:
A pair of Foulbloods is fine by me.
Pack 2 pick 9:
My Pick:
I noticed that I started to pile up zombies so I took this. I might not even play it though so maybe I should have taken a second Elite.
Pack 2 pick 10:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 11:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 12:
My Pick:
The Ghoul stops early attackers and helps with powering up the Foulbloods.
Pack 2 pick 13:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 14:
My Pick:
Pack 2 pick 15:
My Pick:
Pack 3 pick 1:
My Pick:
Easy pick for me especially because the pack is so weak. Sometimes a Dragoon on turn 2 and this on turn 3 is enough to win a game.
Pack 3 pick 2:
My Pick:
Pretty easy pick here as well.
Pack 3 pick 3:
My Pick:
Haven't had a lot of opportunity to play with this but it seems good. I see myself purposely trying to trade for a creature to flip it.
Pack 3 pick 4:
My Pick:
Good in the late game to refill my hand. I have to pass up a Tooth Collector though. I'm hoping the Stormrider comes back around.
Pack 3 pick 5:
My Pick:
Maybe the pick was the Accomplice, but the land is worth a little bit and I can justify it by saying it smooths out my mana right?
Pack 3 pick 6:
My Pick:
Murderous Compulsion is great here as there is absolutely nothing else in this pack for my deck. Perfect timing.
Pack 3 pick 7:
My Pick:
Raredraft!
Pack 3 pick 8:
My Pick:
I guess I don't have to hope to wheel one if I can get one here.
Pack 3 pick 9:
My Pick:
Pack 3 pick 10:
My Pick:
Catalog works with the Madness cards. I wish I had a few more though. No, Alms of the Vein is not what I'm talking about.
Pack 3 pick 11:
My Pick:
This shouldn't be going so late. Would have been an amazing pickup if I did end up going RB Vampires.
Pack 3 pick 12:
My Pick:
Might side it in if my opponent had a lot of fliers.
Pack 3 pick 13:
My Pick:
Pack 3 pick 14:

Lots of removal and some Madness action. Looks good but let's see how it plays.
For the first Match my opponent plays 3 forests and a Woodland Patrol while I play the Wharf Infiltrator. I hit and the ability triggers... causing the replay to crash?! This is ridiculous, I wish I knew this would be happening before I stockpiled so many drafts. I apologize for not going thorough all the matches in more detail and there will likely be more of these crashed replays before I learned that I need to record all the chat. Anyway, I win this one and we go to Game 2. Turns out my opponent is WG humans and starts off with a Steadfast Cathar and a Hamlet Captain. A Nebelgast Herald staves off an attack by the two humans and my opponent adds a Kessig Prowler to his team. Accursed Witch comes down for me and I would happily trade it for something but Faith Unbroken on his Captain dashes me plans. I'm at 11 at this point and play Compulsion on the Captain to get my Witch back and I run out a Wailing Ghoul to try and stem the bleeding. It works as my opponent adds an Obsessive Skinner but declines to attack. I try to fly over with the Herald but a Blessed Alliance gets rid of the spirit. I replace it with an Advanced Stitchwing and it looks like I'm starting to take control of the board. He puts a Lunarch Mantle on the Cathar and the Skinner starts to put counters on the Cathar as well. I have Murder in hand and attack with the flying zombie, hoping that he'll waste mana and lose an extra permanent by activating the Mantle before I kill it. He doesn't bite so my 3-for-1 dream will have to wait but the Stitchwing and Witch get through for 8 and we're all tied up at 11. Bound by Silvermoon locks up my new Foulbloods and my opponent puts the Cathar in the air for the offensive. I live my dream as I still had Murder mana up. He trades the Prowler for the Witch and I add a Dragoon to my side. I Catalog and Madness a Weirded Zombie which is pretty sweet as my army stares down a 3/3 Skinner. My opponent has seen enough and I take Match 1.
Match 2 my opponent explodes out the gates with Gossipmonger, Steadfast Cathar and Geist of the Lonely Vigil while I only manage a Exultant Cultist and Wailing Zombie. He transforms the Gossipmonger and sticks a Mantle to it, pumping it with the rest of his mana and I'm at 12 very quickly. A Murderous Compulsion takes care of the Incited Rabble which is replaced by a Sigardian Priest. My Witch trades for the Cathar and Thalia joins his side to make my life a lot harder so I give it a Boon of Emrakul. Infectious Curse starts to gain me some life back but my opponent has hit Delirium so the Geist comes over and leaves me at 6. I Murder the Geist and for some reason the replay crashes again. He has nothing in hand though while I have a hand full of gas and I end up winning the game somehow.
Game 2 my opponent starts with a Steadfast Cathar, Pious Evangel and a Guardian of Pilgrims while I sit there playing lands. However, I tap down the Evangel with my Herald when he pumps it with the Guardian so I only go down to 16. I play a Foulbloods and trade it for the Cathar as he adds a Selfless Spirit and Vessel of Ephemera. Drag Under bounces his Evangel and I trade the Selfless Spirit with my Herald. Murder stops Thalia from being an annoyance this game and I play Gavony Unhallowed to try and stop the attacks. The zombie gets Bound by Silvermoon and the beatdown continues as I drop to 4 life. I trade a Fouldbloods for his Guardian and fall to 2 as he pops the Vessel. He also plays Geist of the Lonely Vigil (luckily not with Delirium). I play Borrowed Malevolence on one of them at the end of his turn. I have two lines of play here: I can play a Murderous Compulsion to kill the Evangel and follow up with Liliana's Elite or I can ship the turn and flash out a Stormrider Spirit. I opt for the former reasoning that if the Evangel transforms then I would lose anyway. I have a better chance at falling to 1 and hoping that he doesn't hit Delirium. I fall to 1 the next turn and he adds an Eternal Scourge. I ambush the spirit token on his next turn but he follows up with a Subjugator Angel post combat. I intend to trade the Angel and my Stormrider but my opponent throws the Bound by Moonsilver on my spirit and forces me to Throttle the Angel instead. He follows up with a Priest. I run out a Dragoon to chump block the Geist as he finally hit Delirium but it's all in vain as the Priest taps it down and my opponent gets in the last point of damage.
For Game 3 my opponent has the same explosive start. Gossipmonger transforms with a Priest on board and a Guardian of Pilgrims pumps the Incited Rabble even larger. I tap it down with my Herald to prevent any damage though and follow up with Accursed Witch to trade for the Rabble if my opponent give me the chance. He doesn't though as Angelic Purge removes the Witch and his team gomes in and drops me to 14. I Drag Under the Rabble to try and slow him down and trade my spirit for his. He replaces it with a Spectral Shepherd and I play a Stitchwing knowing that it'll be locked down by the Priest but really have no other play as my hand is a Laboratory Brute and a Weirded Zombie. Since I only had 6 mana I wouldn't have been able to play 2 creatures on the same turn anyway so I decided to play the most expensive one. Surprisingly he doesn't tap it down but puts a Mantle on the Shepherd and only attacks for 4. I whiff on my draw though and just play the Brute. I think my opponent believes that the Shepherd doesn't have flying because he activated the Mantle twice. I though he did it the first time to help with Delirium but he kept sacrificing lands, leaving him at 3 Plains. Unfortunately I can't take advantage of the mistake and I get knocked down to 6. I topdeck a Murder when I'm at 2 life and play Borrowed Malevolence to kill his Gossipmonger before it got transformed by his Ironclad Slayer. I Murder his Shepherd and looks like I might get back in this game even though the life totals are 20-2 in his favour. He uses his Priest to lockdown the Stitchwing and plays Thalia as I have my Brute, Weirded Vampire, Liliana's Elite (now a 4/4) and a Wharf Infiltrator. He taps down the Elite on his turn and I trade my Brute for his Slayer and Thalia eats the Vampire. I draw a Swamp and attack with the Infiltrator to dig further. This is where the replay crashes. Very frustrating as this is a very exciting moment in the match. I end up losing by I don't remember how as it seems like I was mounting a comeback. I guess I'm playing for 2 packs again.
In the final match my opponent starts with a Field Creeper and a Fouldbloods as I'm stuck on 2 lands and a Dragoon. He attacks and then plays Merciless Resolve sacrificing his Creeper. I have to play Epiphany for 1 just to find some lands I so desperately need. As you know this sort of effect crashes the replay. I must have found the land though as I take this first game. Turns out my opponent is RB as he starts this game with a Graf Harvest, Insolent Neonate, Hanweir Garrison and I reply with a Wharf Infiltrator and Foulbloods. He kills the Infiltrator with Borrowed Malevolence which is unfortunate but lucky as well since the replay will continue! He hits with the Garrison and I misclick shipping my turn. One the Garrison hit a second time there was no coming back and I scoop them up in frustration. Looking back though I don't think I would have won as I only would have had a Exultant Cultist and the Garrison would have got through twice regardless.
For the final game of this draft I start with a Foulbloods and Gavony Unhallowed while my opponent has a Creeper, Crow of Dark Tidings, Falkenrath Reaver and a Ravenous Bloodseeker. I Drag under the Crow to get some breathing room as he sends in the Reaver and Creeper. I block the Reave with the Gavony Unhallowed and Borrowed Malevolence helps the vampire win the fight as the Fouldbloods trades with the Creeper. I tap out the a Stitchwing and hope that will stop the assault. The Crow returns and he ships the turn. I pass as well as I feel this is the perfect time to play Epiphany at the Drownyards. He plays a Forgemaster and I Epipihany for 6 at the end of his turn. As you probably guessed the replay crashes here but I assume the card advantage is too much for my opponent to overcome as I end up taking this game and walking away with 2 booster packs.
I really liked this deck as there is a lot of action late game and it's fun to play. Maybe I should have taken more defensive creatures to help me get to the late game. I feel that it could go 3-0 and I'm disappointed that I couldn't get a win with it. Hopefully I can draft something sweet next time as well.
